the long awaited good news!!

Yup, despite my handphones woes (see below 1st), there's still a good news for me to cheer up my day! Finally after waiting for 7 months, i'm finally going for my police driving conversion~! It will be a 3 days course, from 12th to 14th july ;-). There's also a test which i have to pass, after which then i would be certified to drive the police vehicles... but the best thing is that they would be teaching some of the advanced driving skills.. ;-) normally this type of stuff would cost hundreds of $ if taken outside. so isnt it great? hehe!

Brw, y this takes soo long to come coz of the very limited places the Transport Branch issues to our dept... So.. i better pass this test... or else i believe the entire world would be coming after me!! haha...

siemens ah siemens..

Since my first, i have been using siemens.

I used to be proud of my little siemens S45, coz it was the only silver colour phone with orange backlight, it got more useful functions than other phones, it was a good PDA, it connects well to PC and i could backup everything to my PC, it's durable, etc etc...
So when she finally retired on the age of 2.5yrs old, without fail i got another Siemens. It's my cool Black SL65

BUT.. disappointing...

First, Java app takes 4ever to load, and when running it lags as if there's no tommorrow.
nevermind lo, i dun play java games lo.

Then, she hangs at times when i sms. Nevermind, off it and power on again lo.
Next, she hangs up my calls when i'm using the handsfree. Fine.
Later, she "auto-deletes" my appointments and notes in my organiser...

today?

No sounds comes out of it. When people calls me i cant hear anything at all.

Grr....

(p/s: paisei ah derrick, waste your talktime when u called me earlier... ;-p)

so, after usage of 5months only, my hp is offically spoilt...

How? only can use handsfree to listen to calls.

Now i finally need a visit to Siemens Care @ bugis.

(p/s: btw i havent filled up my warranty card eh. Luckily heard from my fren that it's ok, at most they only "nao" me for not sending... hehe ^_^ "" )

hmmm...

today: get to HQ at 9.00am
fact: 842am, i'm still on bus 86, along yio chu kang road..

of coz i'm worried... and when a group of students from MINDS boarded the bus with their teachers (going for a field trip i guess) , u can expect the first thing that comes to my mind is "Oh my god.....the slow bus is gonna get slower...." i'm more worried for myself.

but only after 2mins, wat i saw removed all my uneasiness... and indeed, for a person whose last volunteer work was (more or less) a nightmare, it was something very nice... despite that fact that the kids are from a "special" school, they were surprisingly very well behaved... the scene of them boarding the bus (and getting off later) orderly is something u would never expect from a "normal" primary sch... (mind u, it's public transport somemre) ... they were not playing or fooling in e bus, and were not making much noise at all. When the teacher guides one of the kid how to hold on to the handrails on top, the rest of them followed suit, despite not told to do so. And when on of the lady gave her seat to one of them, the kid gave back what could be one of the warmest smile u ever saw...

mentally, they could not be as strong as "normal" kids. but that aside, they could be much more better than those who are supposed to be "intelligent".. really made me to think.

today is me and shufang's 11th month!! haha... i really got to say...time really flies! soon, comes next month and it gonna be our 1st year anniversary liaoz~ heehe.. . nevertheless, we had a good dinner juz now after work..! Really enjoyed the time juz now... and of coz, for the past 11mths too!! shufang, it's soo great to have you!! thanks for all!!

initial D the movie.... shiok!!

juz couples of days ago, my sis entered the HALLS sweets lucky draw, by eating several packs of sweets and submitting the wrappers... she got a upsetted stomach coz of tat, but it was worth it... coz she won some initial D items and of the preview tickets!! hehe..

so, after the watching the preview at Lido just now, our verdict is simply.... shiok!! This is simply one of the greatest movies i had been dying for a long time..! not only the cars and the drifting... the cast and story flow are great! ...or even, better than the (more technical) anime... (cos the story flow and details had been heavily modified from the original.. but the basic plot is still there) Very few movies could actually capture the entire audience... the entire cinema laughed loudly during the comedy part (which there are many), and was totally quiet at the exciting part... and the racing..they set ur blood rushing! And surprise... Jay Chou acted (surprisingly) well! The entire role was brought alive by him.. initially we were still expecting a "block head" from him... seems tat we r wrong!

indeed... "from the director of Infernal Affairs and Young & dangerous series"!

but one complain... they crashed both my favourite Mitsubishi Evo in the movie.....sob sob...

nevertheless, i wanna go watch again!! (my sis even said she's thinking of watching 3 times...haha)

breakfast talk

during breakfast today at work, the topic was unforgetable.... my colleagues actually started to talk about the bodies they saw during their patrolling days... and oh my god... it's breakfast time..!!! haha... heard soo many new "info" today... indeed an eye opener... but guess better not share it here b4 this blog kana classified as grade "RA(violence)" ... haha... interested pple may ask me some other time outside bahz...

but it made me realise something... how bad is it for those police guys at the frontline... how many pple would like to pick up a rotten body from the drain? or see how the body is scattered in a crashed car? "aiya, used to it lor" they would say...

not only bodies of 'cos.... there are more when they handle pple argue/fight, when some "hero" runs away, when "funny" people are being locked up.....

so, if u c a policeman next time, dont think singapore ones are nothing.... most likely u wun get to see those "something" that they had done...

Yupz... still setting my blog today... concentrated on the side frame, finishing up on all the details and adding of the tag board... hehe.. . now looking more not like the "factory" one liao huh! haha... now i will live on with this, until i master the higher skills i will give her a facelift again...!! coz looking ard at others (which are much more nicer) this is a far cry!! *envy**..
