a seriously required update

yo folks..! yup i'm finally updating my blog... finally right.. In case you r wondering y i havent been online for such a period...here's update now:

I got a job finally. It's this courier cum dispatch job, for this distribution company. So for everyday (except sun) i have to drive this van around to do dispatch (for starhub stuff) by a fixed time to their HQ, and delivery of items for this computer shop.

So far not too bad... gotten used to all the stuff.. just that it might get abit tiring if there's no rest in middle (oh ya, i can get rest if i finish the delivery early.. i'm on my own) so, that's y now, as far as possible, it's all early nights for me now...to prevent sleeping on the wheel (that long and straight ECP..) and of coz, not to be late.

So for the next 2 months i guess i would master the art of finding parking (the van is quite big), knowing all the way about in town (many many rounds) and making the best of ERP (not cheap ok..) ..not forgetting, i'm completely mobile during all this period...coz the van can be taken home. yeah.


alright, this my life for next 2 months.

And after i settled down and start to think alot during the day at work, you will see a post here soon (whenever possible)

if u wonder what happen...

halo guys...

in case if u guys wonder what had happen to me instead of typing out m HK trip,

allow me to share what had happen this week...

1) First my grandma had gotten into hospital again... had been visiting her and watching the family drama live telecast of the "care-less" sons (uncles) again. My poor grandma...I actually felt really sad for her tonight after visiting.

2) And also, for the past few days i had been busy looking for jobs. Both online and making calls to agency. So certainly i'm heavily depending on my computer (to check and send resumes)

3) ....and at this critical moment my computer crashed and went dead, never to wake again (for today and god knows til when)

So now i'm looking at that ever familiar Shufang's Laptop, in my room. Thank you shufang once again for lending laptop always...


Take a deep breath... nevermind, BBQ coming this sat. Time to relax first. Yeah.

me is back

ah.. finally back to SG, wed midnight. After a day of resting, getting back 80% of energy le.. coz it's really tiring! but a great experience overall..

Not bad le lar, considering the totally unknown place and almost everyone getting sick along the way, we had done quite not a bad job all on our own (almost)

anyway when i'm more ok, watch here more a detailed entry...

and also by then i should have uploaded all my 496 (!!) photos..


in short, HK is great if:
1) u r fast paced
2) great navigation skills
3) can stand the heat (33C at times) and pollution in town
4) love shopping alot alot and nice scenery
5).. if u can speak cantonese , a big bonus.

would i visit HK again? Yes i'll, but let me cover Oz first.

hmm...ok gonna run...

HK HK HK HK HK....

Yup, all in 10 hours time, we will be departing our sunny island, to our first ever friends cum girlfriend cum grandmother overseas tour, to Hong Kong...

2, 3 years back, the concept of going overseas together after NS, was borth. 3,4 months back, the idea was initiated again by Soon Leong, and the Research, Booking, and Preparation followed not long after that (certainly kudos to Derrick, whom did everything that got to do with the Tour Agency. Well, he's really experienced.)

Now, we are all leaving. cheerS!

Thus, for the next 5 days, there will not be any updates here. If you are looking for me, please SMS or leave a voicemail (yes, i finally found the password to the voicemail inbox...hee..)

A full "report" will be drafted once we are all back. Watch this space ;^)


p/s: And oh ya, something else worth a mention... After days of work at expo last week, i finally got my first ever pay cheque! Of coz i took a quick photo of it before she disappears into the QuickCheque Desposit Box...hehe..

HAPPY 21ST BirthDAY!!

Yup, for the year 2006, we have another 21yr old guy.

Thank you alot to Remy, whom invited us to Newton Circles for a good dinner and gathering. The food is really not bad eh...not wonder it's Remy favourite place.

Followed, it's lots of fun opposite Plaza Singapura (Istana Park)... Haaha.. Yup Initially we wanted to go KTV (which was full/too $$) then cafe (which was all full) ...so in the end, couple of drinks bought from the supermart and a empty area for us to sit was how we spent the rest of the night.. which was not the first time we all did that for birthdays (think Derrick 20th bday) and also not bad too..see the lots of photo.

Lastly, it's TouHua nearby at Rochor. Once again, the place was full, so we all sat nearby at the HDB. Chatting continues, til we all retired home at 1am plus.

Ah... Really enjoyed the night, especially nowadays when we all dont get to see each other oftenly. Most importantly, hope that Remy enjoyed it as much too . cheers!
